Suppliers

Material suppliers from all trades, concrete, drywall, electrical, plumbing and more benefit from a well-written lien law. Even within specific industries, we work hard to address situations such as specially fabricated materials, rental contracts, owner direct purchases, and more.

Contractors & Subs

By serving proper and timely notices to all parties in the construction process, there are no surprise construction liens. NACM supports requirements that written notices be served to maintain the integrity of the construction payment process.

  Laborers

From temporary staffing to hired help for construction labor only, NACM is looking out for you. The Florida Construction Lien Law has special provisions for laborers like priority in payment under 713.06 (4)(a), specifically placing laborers first

About Us

We are the organization responsible for the stability of the Florida Construction Lien Law.

The Florida Improved Construction Practices Committee represents material suppliers, contractors, subcontractors, and laborers in the Florida construction industry. Our mission is to maintain a fair process for proper payment in the construction process.

  • Protecting laborers

Those who provide labor on a construction job site have the right to be protect and paid for their work.

  • Protecting Construction Trades

Contractors and Subcontractors of all trades have the ability to send a notice to owner and protect their interest in receiving payment. Concrete, electrical, plumbing, drywall, and all types of trades in the construction project are represented by the Florida Improved Construction Practices Committee.

  • Protecting Property Owners

A well-written law, a good solution, is one that provides fairness and equity for all involved. For that reason we also maintain a separate site, Build Lien Free Florida, designed strictly to help consumers navigate through the Florida notice to owner process.
